Polishing agents
The polishing process means that the finest polishing grains are pulled over a surface with light pressure in order to remove protruding material. The aim is not only to smooth the surface, but also to remove as little material as possible so as not to influence the material thickness too much.
Since polishing agents are abrasive, their production is a very demanding process which is not gentle on the material. VMA-Getzmann offers DISPERMAT® mills not only in stainless steel, but also with ceramic inserts. Depending on the load, they have a significantly longer service life. Moreover, the company offers patented systems with the highest grinding efficiency to minimize the retention time and processing time of a polishing agent in the milling chamber.
